Your DONATION to our ongoing work in Tanzania makes a real difference in the lives of the people we help every day. There are three important things you should know about donations:
1 ) EVERY DOLLAR donated goes directly to the work of the Water Project ! There's no one in the middle taking percentages and no administrative fees. We are a volunteer group.
2) The Water Project is a permanent fixture in Tanzania. We don't just drill wells, build windmills and clinic and then leave ! Our team is there is continue to support every day.
3) We are empowering people to help themselves, not giving out handouts. Virtually all of the employees of the Water Project are Tanzanians, who have learned a trade, developed a skill and found a home as part of the team. Even the villages we help are empowered to take responsibility for what we bring to them.
